Dr. Stewart Anderson
Dr. Stewart Anderson graduated with honors, Cum Laude, from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2008 and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Following residency, Dr. Anderson served two years in the New Mexico Health Service Corps by providing dental care to the underserved citizens of New Mexico. Because of his service and dedication to the profession, Dr. Anderson has regularly been recognized by his peers in Albuquerque the Magazine as being a “Top Dentist” and most recently as being the “Top Dentist” for his field.
While away from the office, Dr. Anderson enjoys his time with his wife, Brittany, and their four children. As a family, they enjoy friends, vacations, outdoors, barbeques, playgrounds, movies, and zoos. Personally, Dr. Anderson enjoys an active lifestyle, which includes CrossFit and sports. On Saturdays, you may catch him coaching a 7-year-old Mighty Mites football team.
An Eagle Scout himself, Dr. Anderson enjoys being involved within the community and local Boy Scouts of America and is a Trained Leader. He volunteers and works directly with a Venture Crew and enjoys helping these 16-18 year old young men recognize their potential while earning scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout.
Dr. Anderson’s background and training allow him to offer a wide-range of treatment options to a wide-range of patients. He is a proponent of both conservative and comprehensive dental care for his patients. He welcomes any and all to become part of the Legacy Dental family.
Dr. Derek Lines
Derek Lines is a proud, born-and-raised Albuquerque guy. After graduating high school from the Albuquerque Academy, he ventured out of state for his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and then graduated from dental school at the University of Southern California. He then had the honor of serving in the United States Navy as a dental officer, with most of that time spent overseas in Japan. He came back to Albuquerque in 2005 and has been in private dental practice ever since.
The most important things in Dr. Lines’ life are his faith, family, and friends. He is active in his church community as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His faith motivates him to use his dental skills to help others in need. He has volunteered hundreds of hours and donated tens of thousands of dollars to the New Mexico Mission of Mercy, Donated Dental, Global Dental Relief, Catholic Refugee relief effort, Albuquerque Public Schools, and the Albuquerque S.A.F.E. house for victims of domestic violence, among others.
Dr. Lines feels so blessed to have married his college sweetheart Kristine. They have 5 children and Dr. Lines can often be found at their concerts, games, and performances. He considers his wife and children to have the six best smiles he has ever seen! Dr. Lines enjoys creating a family atmosphere at Legacy Dental. He counts all his patients as friends and treats them with the same care he would a close family member.
Dr. Lines has received numerous honors and awards. After graduation from dental school he completed the rigorous Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. As a U.S. Naval dental officer, he was humbled to receive the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal. Dr. Lines has been consistently recognized by his fellow dentists in “Albuquerque the Magazine” as one of the city’s top dentists for the past decade. He was awarded the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry marking his commitment to continuing education and advanced dental training. Dr. Lines has also been recognized by America’s Top Professionals, the DOCS organization, and Breakaway Practices for his commitment to the highest standards of dental care.
