What Are Dentures?
Dentures are made of an acrylic base that fits either over the roof of your mouth or around the bottom teeth in a horseshoe shape. Replacement teeth in the denture sit either above or below the base. We will make them just for you based on your needs and the shape, size and look of your natural teeth. Then, we place the dentures after any healing is complete following oral surgery or tooth removal.
What Are Complete Dentures?
Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, and immediate dentures may be available depending on your situation. Once fitted, dentures can be uncomfortable for a few weeks, but in time, you will get used to speaking and eating with them on. Be sure to ask our dental team all your denture questions so we can help you plan for long to wear them on a daily basis, what to eat while wearing them, whether or not you need a denture adhesive and the steps you should take for denture-related oral hygiene.
What Are Partial Dentures?
